The National Testing Agency has invited applications for the CSIR-UGC National Eligibility Test in December 2024, which closes on January 2, 2025. The agency has scheduled the examination for some subjects separately; hence, the exam will be held between 29 February and 02 March 2025.

- You should first visit the official website of NTA for CSIR NET mentioned above.
- Next, look for the CSIR-UGC NET DEC-2024 Admit Card link on the latest news section of the homepage.
- Next, click the CSIR-UGC NET DEC-2024 Admit Card direct link to be directed to a new page where you have to enter your login credentials, such as your application number and DOB, along with the captcha code.
- Once you submit all the details, your CSIR NET admit card will appear on your screen.

The CBT mode exam of CSIR UGC NET will follow the below exam pattern that every candidate should know:
- The CSIR NET paper has multiple-choice questions, which have a negative marking scheme.
- The number of questions in the CSIR NET CBT mode exam is as follows based on the subjects:

- Mathematics Sciences 60

- The paper will have three parts that include general aptitude, subject-related questions, and advanced MCQs. Candidates will score 2 marks for every correct answer in Part A and Part B sections of the paper, whereas 0.5 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer. The advanced MCQ score for the correct answers is 4 marks, and 1 mark is deducted for every incorrect answer.
